Wayne Mackintosh 

At the age of 14 years Wayne started playing tournament golf and later became a state representative in both New South Wales and ACT. By the age of 18 years he was twice a club champion and the holder of 13 course records. Wayne has won more than 50 Amateur Golf Tournaments.

On leaving school, Wayne completed an apprenticeship in green keeping at Federal Golf Club in Canberra. Whilst still pursuing a golf career.

Wayne went on to start his first business in Coffs Harbour in 1986 and sold that business in 1989. From there Wayne and his young family moved back to Canberra where he became an insurance broker for the company A.C.I.B. licensed to AMP Insurance. After 2 years as an insurance broker Wayne commenced study and became a licensed Financial Planner. In November 1992 he was working with Mortgage & General a licensed dealer of securities.

Shortly after Wayne formed his own financial planning company known as Advanced Mortgage Advisers Aust. Pty Ltd authorised through Personal & Business Financial Planning with partners AMAA. Wayne and his company trained other financial planners and branched out with offices in Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Gosford and Sydney with Canberra being the main office chambers.

In September 1995, now divorced, Wayne moved to the Sunshine Coast and stated Advanced Mortgage Advisers Qld Pty Ltd. During the following two years AMAQ grew to employ over 44 staff of which 19 were qualified financial planners.

Wayne, a passionate person, is also educated in share trading and has, for more than 19 years, trained numerous others to become financial planners. He has interviewed thousands of clients and has helped many achieve independent wealth. He was also one of the original Masterclass financial planners.

Whilst no longer working as a financial planner, Wayne is the founder of Asset Acceleration Group (Aust.) Pty Ltd and, using only qualified professionals in their field, he is growing a successful business. With many happy clients.
