Garry McGufficke, JP and Real Estate Agent Buderim, Sunshine Coast Background: Worked in the NSW Department of Justice for 13 years and held positions as Clerk as Petty Sessions and Chamber Magistrate, studying law at Sydney University before buying and operating a Sydney Supermarket for 3 years Spent the next 25 years as an Australian Federal Police Officer rising to the rank of Detective Superintendent. Most of this service was in the Sydney Metropolitan area. Although he had overseas service at New Scotland Yard, London for 2 years and 18 months as Operations Commander and Peacekeeper in Cyprus in the Middle East. Last 3 years of Police Service was as Manager, Dignitary and Athlete Protection at The Sydney 2000 Olympics On early-retirement Garry moved to the Sunshine Coast where he and his partner owned and operated Real Estate Offices. During 4 years this business was built to 5 offices and today is one of the largest independent real estate offices on the Sunshine Coast “ I have a strong practical background in Management and have studied through both New England and Sturt Universities. I have always been a keen sportsman and enjoy going to the gym and playing a regular game of golf” |
